In 1993, Jeff Gordon formally became part of the NASCAR Cup Series when he debuted the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports during Daytona Speedweeks, where he also impressed the masses by becoming the first rookie driver in nearly 30 years to win a Twin 125s race. In his first full season on NASCAR's most competitive circuit, the 21-year-old driver turned in seven top-five and 11 top-10 finishes with a pole award at Charlotte Motor Speedway and a 14th place ranking in the championship standings.

Gordon's steady performance also was enough to garner the 1993 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year award. Car is in excellent condition and the box has limited shelf wear from being in storage.
