Dupont craftsmen have deployed their unique mastery of lacquering techniques to crate this exceptional "cloisonne" design in genuine Chinese lacquer and engraved gold. The engravings feature pre-Colombian geometrical decorative motifs.

In particular, the image of the snake, a sacred animal stylistically represented by successive rings, adorns the rings and clips of the pens.
