This is a Genuine, Limited Edition S. Dupont Art Deco Keychain #174/1000. At the end of the 1910s, decorators sought to break away from the sinuous curves of Art Nouveau. They found many new sources of inspiration; traditional and contemporary, European and exotic. Thus differing styles such as African art and Neo-classicism provided the powerful momentum for a new decorative movement that saw the arabesques of Art Nouveau make way for pure, stylised lines.

Dupont offers a limited series inspired by the designs presented at the Decorative Arts exhibition held in Paris in April 1925.
