Thus differing styles such as African art and Neo-classicism provided the powerful momentum for a new decorative movement that saw the arabesques of Art Nouveau make way for pure, stylised lines. Dupont offers a limited series inspired by the designs presented at the Decorative Arts exhibition held in Paris in April 1925. This unique lighter is created with resolutely modern forms, chased in gold with red and black Chinese lacquer.
