Dupont Limited Edition 1996 Art Deco Fountain Pen (#0823/1500). On April 28, 1925, in the heart of Paris, along the banks of the Seine, all the way to Place de la Concorde, the international exhibition organized by France opened. It was to give birth to a style to be known ever after as Art Deco. The history of the decorative arts during the first half of the twentieth century is one of profound revolutions and striking contrasts of spirit and taste.

It includes works as diverse as Bauhaus tubular steel furniture and the Mouvement Moderne - whose ideal continues to inspire contemporary design - and the elaborate and individual creations of the foremost Art Deco designers. The pen and presentation box are in great condition and it comes with its original packaging, documents, cartridge converter, and blue ink cartridges (They may be dry). It has only been dipped on blue ink for testing purposes, it shows some notable brush marks within the gold trims and the nib.

This fine writing instrument would make a wonderful addition to the collection of any S. The tracking capability is limited compared to the more expensive alternative UPS.
